The excavation was completed in September of 2005. However, several science classes continue to use our materials for educational purposes. As a result, the site will continue to be available, thanks to DCRE Labs, LLC!

MammothCam Staff

The website is back up, sorry for the delay. The server for MammothCam is provided by DCRE Labs whose programmer recently stayed up a few nights in a row to develop www.familymessages.org to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The site was extremely helpful during the first days after Katrina hit, so much so that we had to clear off other servers to free up bandwidth, including our MammothCam project.

FamilyMessages.Org has been temporarily relocated to Yahoo's servers now and continues to provide assistance to the Red Cross recovery shelters, so we're able to bring back MammothCam.Com. Though the webcam has been taken down (again), we have videos to process and will post them soon.

Thank you for your patience,

Today I came with my mom to watch the
second dig, but the men just wanted to
go back to berkley. But than he stopped
the car and came back to explain what they had done in morning.
Timon really was sad he could not see
directly the work at the place. He really wishes to see how to dig and how
to finish for the transport.
We really would be happy if you can
give us a notice than you next time comming eventually after school about
2:30 pm. Thank you very much for explaining the work in the morning.

I would love to visit the site to watch your work. Could you let me know exactly where it is located as I live in SF. My sister lives in San Jose so I get down there fairly often.

Thanks,

Dennis

Thanks for offering virtual paleontology. It's a great educational tool. I am a volunteer at The Elephant Sanctuary in TN and I just added your site to our What's New bulletins at www.elephants.com.
